Horn Skuld is a Seventeenth Progenitor and serves as the right hand of Crowley Eusford and often monitors Chess Belle. She is serious and mature, and is often the one who Crowley turns to when deciding on a plan and the strategy that will be executed. She is shown to be wary of Ferid Bathory, displaying a dislike of his games that may get herself, Crowley, and Chess killed.

While not the strongest of vampires, she is an extremely strategic fighter, and looks at fights with a calm attitude, unlike that of amusement that most vampires show. Instead she works to end fights as quickly as possible without using them as source of fun. Unbeknownst to all but Crowley, Horn Skuld is also extremely skilled in gathering information which she often gives to him. She is far more knowledgeable than most assume, and she uses her lower ranking to her advantage to avoid the attention of other vampires. After all, who would suspect the low ranking blonde as being far more cunning than she lets on?

Despite the teaming of vampires often due to safety rather than any real bonds, Crowley, Chess, and Horn are an exception to this rule, each displaying true care for the others of their group. Horn is often tasked with taking care of Chess to ensure the more immature vampire doesn't get killed, but she also keeps an eye out for Crowley and his safety.

Byakkomaru was born into a small town of the Assyrian Empire at 600 BC to a family consisting of his father, his mother, and a little but sickly brother. His mother was well known in the town for her spiritual connections to the gods and magic, and his father was a respected warrior. Thus, from a young age, Byakkomaru was raised to be an even better soldier and hunter than his father had been. He was also taught to be a great scholar in the fields of strategy, logistics, language, and magic. It didn’t take long for Byakkomaru to rise to be the star of the city with his skills. When a tiger continuously came to slaughter the livestock of the village, he took it upon himself to go hunt down the beast and slay it. He then took it back to the village, where every bit of it was put to use or eaten. The fur was given to Byakkomaru as a symbol of his status and honor. For Byakkomaru and his town, every life, even of a beast, was to be respected. If a starving animal stole an animal for her cubs, he would refuse to harm it. When he did kill, the village would use everything or as much as could be.

Soon, soldiers from Harran, the (at the time) capital of the Asyrian Empire, passed through the city on a regular recruitment for new soldiers. Naturally, Byakkomaru attracted their attention, and he was ordered to go to the capital. He himself had no desire to become part of the standing army, but it was a position few had the honor of so he did. There, he spent a couple years training and rising up ranks to become one of the elite squad of warriors that protected the king. The cost was never getting to see his family again. The last chance he was ever given to visit his family, he was given a pendent created by one of the village elders with a symbol translating to tiger. (A necklace he continues to wear both as a vampire and demon). Then he bid his mother, father, and brother goodbye and never saw or heard of the again.

Instead, for several years Byakkomaru served as one of the elites with seven others to protect the key and go to war. It was in one of these wars that Byakkomaru encountered a fourth progenitor vampire. One who's attention he’d caught and wanted to test himself. Despite inadequate weapons, Byakkomaru did enough to impress the vampire that he was forcefully turned and became one of the vampire progenitors.

He retaliated, much to the vampire’s amusement, before accepting the fact that the power difference between himself and the sire was too much to take head on. So he grudgingly accepted the fact and established himself as a relatively calm vampire, although with a taste for violence in battle and to drain a human dry. That said, a valiant warrior might be graced with getting final words or requests, especially if it came to do with children. That was a line he would not cross, the feeding from children. All the while he was closely bonding with his sire and other associates. Many vampires were pleased, but the truth was Byakkomaru was doing it for far more SELFISH reasons. He wasn’t doing it because of a loss of emotion or benefits. No, he was doing it to strike back. But to do so, he needed strategy an knowledge.

Byakkomaru accepted this task for about two centuries, and then he struck. A bloody, violent, but calculated strike that took down his sire. After all, Assyrian warriors were masters of strategy and combat, and Byakkomaru had learned much from his time as a human as well as being with vampires and visiting various other cultures and learning new knowledge. No one expected the well-liked vampire to turn in a flurry of fangs and blades to slaughter his sire and then disappear. It was several decades before a higher-ranked vampire progenitor managed to track him down and rip out his heart as punishment (and one of the first to be turned a demon by this method).

Thus, Byakkomaru was reborn as a demon, taking the form of the tiger because it’d held so much meaning to him both as a human and as a vampire. It also was a very strategic maneuver on his part; a tiger doesn’t immediately evoke the idea of a demon. He seems very friendly at first, but he is an absolutely ruthless demon. Rather than feeding off of desires and wants, Byakkomaru would take the soul or life energy (if non-human) of a victim be it an enemy of someone he made a deal with, or the person he made a deal with themselves once he got bored of them.

For several centuries Byakkomaru went around making deals like this, taking lives of those he made deals with and victims of those people, while learning more languages and magics. He’d trick people make deals, pretending to care, but finding all unworthy to serve. At least, until he met his first Master. This man captured his interest and was an honorable, talented combatant who could see through Byakkomaru’s act. This man also acted in a manner, pretending to be kind and friendly while holding another side. This man he swore his loyalty to, he would not take this man’s soul but would serve until his master’s death, and bring victory to his master and try to protect him. Something he achieved, fiercely loyal to his first and only master (Until Shinya).

After the death of his first master, Byakkomaru returned to his old ways, traveling the world while making deals that would ultimately end in death. No other person captured his attention or earned his loyalty. This however changed to a degree with the creation of the Cursed Gear. Soon he found a master in SHINYA HIRAGI , who's his current and second ever master. Unlike most demons, Byakkomaru will do anything to protect his master and has no intentions of possession.

Chrollo Lucilfer was born in a place known as Meteor City, a place where people do not exist in any official records, and the nature of the city itself is unknown. The people there are tied closely together, and many of the best criminals come from this area.

Such was the environment that Chrollo grew up, forced to survive in the harsh environment that was technologically behind the rest of the world. At some point, Chrollo formed The Phantom Troupe, and was elected to be the leader by the other members. Soon after, the Phantrom Troupe rose to gain quite a terrifying reputation as being unstoppable monsters. They steal whatever they want, and kill anyone who gets in their way. But their thefts aren't just jewels and metals. Sometimes, it can be far more twisted. One of these was the massacre of the entire Kurta clan for the sake of their Scarlet Eyes.

Chrollo continues to lead the Phantom Troupe, terrorizing the world that always whispers in fear of the Phantom Troupe and its leader.

Kalluto Zoldyck is the youngest child of the Zoldyck family, a family known to be the best assassins across the world, unrivaled by any other. From an extremely young age, as soon as he could talk or crawl, he was being trained to be the perfect assassin just like all his siblings were (excluding Alluka). However, as the youngest, there was less focus put on him than there was on Illumi, and then on the family heir, Killua. His family's attention was always on Killua. But even so, Kalluto strove to be a perfect assassin worth his mother's attenion. Being the youngest, he still earned her attention, but she more often treated him as a doll. All of which he obediently accepted due to a desire for attention.

He began killing at an extremely young age. When most children were learning to read or write, he was learning to kill (in addition to reading and writing) as well as how to endure torture. By the age of 10, he'd already mastered his Nen ability, years before Killua Zoldyck mastered his (14 years old). Kalluto often accompanies his oldest brother Illumi on assassinations, but later joined the feared group of murderious theives known as the Phantom Troupe as their #4 member, and spends his time with various troupe members rather than returning home.

MAIN. Follows canon. Kalluto is the youngest of the Zoldycks, but is an extremely successful assassin despite his young age. So much so that he was invited and joined the infamous Phantom Troupe, a group feared by many other criminals as well as governments. He took the place of Hisoka and is the #4 member. He spends his time traveling with them now.
FUTURE. (21)The Phantom Troupe became Kalluto's new home. While he still loves his family, Kalluto is no longer dependent on them nor seeks out thair approval and attention. He's bonded closely with the other Troupe members and has been a key member of the group. Away from his family and given attention, Kalluto flourished to become a truly dangerous member of the Troupe. Occasionally he still takes assassination requests and every now and again visits his family.

Nagare grew up in a house that was almost robotic, with expressions and emotions hidden and polite manners expected at all times. His parents were not loving nor affectionate, but very business-like and distant. He often went out to play video games with his friends. During one of these adventures, his life changed forever. While playing video games with his friends, Nagare caught sight of the Red Sword and Blue Sword and pointed them out. Unbeknownst to them, this was the infamous Damocles Down event involving Red King Genji Kagutsu and Blue King Jin Habari. When the sword fell, Nagare witnessed his everyone be killed, while he himself was impaled in the heart by a chunk of cement and proceeded to die.

But he did not die. Instead, he was chosen by the Dresden Slate to become the Green King and managed to survive thanks to the Dresden Slate, which replaced his heart with an energy link directly to it that keeps him alive. The Grey King found him and took him in and became a parental figure for the boy. Later, Nagare challenged the Gold King for the Slate, determined to make everyone a king. While he ultimately lost and was forced into hiding, he did manage to take four days off the Gold King's life as well as scratch him, proving how dangerous he was. However, the cost was that he had to disappear, and lived in a vast underground system while he formed his own clan known as JUNGLE through an app where people can level up, and through various ranks gain special materials and powers as an extension of the king and being one of his clansmen .

After the death of his parents, Yukari was taken in under the wing of Ichigen Miwa, the (at the time) Colorless King. Yukari became his student as well as early on becoming his right hand clansman, learning all he could in poetry, swordsmanship, and the world around him. He flourished, and began to interact and visit the other kings. He also became the older figure for Kuroh Yatogami, once Ichigen rescued the boy one snowy night. Yukari became an older mentor figure, reluctantly helping to train him. But unlike Yukari, Ichigen chose to keep Kuroh oblivious to the world of Kings for years, until Kuroh accidentally overheard late one night when Yukari was giving a report to Ichigen.

Restlessness had settled deep in Yukari's chest. As much as he loved and respected his king, Yukari no longer enjoyed being bound to the mountain. Ichigen did everything without risk, always chose the calm and safe path. While there was a beauty in it, Yukari longed for something more EXCITING and VIVID. When Ichigen said he could teach him no more, it was the final straw. Yukari challenged Ichigen to a duel deeply injuring him but also losing. Which Kuroh was too young to understand and was deeply horrified at the percieved betrayal, Yukari and Ichigen had always known the day would come. As a parting gift, Ichigen told Yukari to keep the sword Yukari had wielded for so long and continues to, Ayamachi. Yukari left the Colorless clan, and disappeared into the world.

For a little while, Yukari had wandered aimlessly around the world, looking for what he deemed beautiful. Then one day, the Green King, who had been missing since the day Yukari witnessed him fight the Gold King, contacted Yukari. He wished for Yukari to become one of his clansman. After several chats, the swordsman met Nagare and joined JUNGLE. He has remained under the radar for many years, but has once again emerged onto the stage of the battle for the Dresden Slate as the fearsome lead combatant of JUNGLE.

Rufus's parents were deceased all of his life , his father having died prior to his birth in a Guild War against a Dark Guild while his mother passed shortly after childbirth. But this wasn't to be a tragic story. Rufus was taken in under a mentoring figure who was a member of PHOENIX GRAVE and made him a part of the guild. Her name was RHEA ABILANES. With the Guild Master’s permission , she took to raising him , a strict but fair teacher who emphasized the importance of learning through experience , even the harsh ones. It led to Rufus's ability in life to view everything as a learning experience and keeping an open mind. But Rhea could only help him so much when Rufus sought to rise higher and highter.

At 14, Rufus left Phoenix Grave with the help of Rhea who helped convince the guild master to let him go. For a year Rufus was an independent mage, wandering the world and building his arsenal of magic and knowledge. At 15 he came across Sabertooth and demanded to be a part of it, swiftly proving his skill and securing himself as a member of the top 5 of Sabertooth. He has remained with Sabertooth ever since and plans to stay for as long as possible.

A demon that rules as king in the Underworld. Mard Geer was a concept, a consciousness that existed before Zeref. He was the presence, the power, the darkness conceptualized by demons in their subconsciousness. But he was given form through the Books of Zeref, labeled a creation of Zeref despite consciously existing before then. Mard Geer never opted to reveal such information and played his role to a T as an Etherious and leader of Tartaros.

Mard Geer began searching for a way to destroy and kill Zeref, creating his own skills to destroy life and death both. At some point, he also crossed paths with the Celestia Spirit King that ended in a stalemate, leading to long term hostility that remained unresolved. He also created the guild known as Tartaros, utilizing END's book to rally demons around him. Despite the use of END however, many demons follow Mard Geer based on his own power and intelligence. He is, after all, King of the Underworld.

Violence walks hand in hand with him. Jackal is originally a creation of Zeref, born form the Books of Zeref. He spent minimal time in the presence of Zeref, not as intent on the command to kill Zeref as others were and instead chose to do what HE wanted to do.

Soon, Jackal crossed paths with the infamous Underworld King. An unexpected encounter, but one that came with plenty of potential and rewards when Mard Geer offered for him to join Tartaros over 380 years ago. Jackal accepted and became the first member of Tartaros as well as its most deadly member, often sent on stealth missions to kill anyone who poses a problem to Tartaros.

MAIN. This follows any time during the canon Tartaros Arc as well as anything that may occur before this arc starts. Jackal is one of the Nine Demon Gates of Tartaros, serving under Mard Geer. They seek to revive E.N.D.
POST-TARTAROS. This takes place AFTER the Tartaros Arc. Due to the massive amounts of negative energy being created, Jackal's curse power combined with his already high recovery status allowed for him to wake up after most of the event had unfolded. As proud as the demon might be, even Jackal was aware he wouldn't stand a chance against of Fairy Tail. So he managed to escape before Mirajane could go around consuming the souls of those left after the scene. Afterwards, Jackal slinked off to recover for a while and then opted to simply roam as he tries to figure out a new plan on what to do.

You know the story of Lucifer. The morningstar, Heaven's most beloved and the Closest to God. Lucifer was the prized angel in Heaven, always spending his time in God's throne room and learning more than any other angel did or ever has since. He was the most beautiful, the most intelligent, designed to be perfect.

But hate and pride began to form in his heart, and eventually, he and 1/3 of Heaven's angels rose up in rebellion. Lucifer and all those who had followed him were cast down from Heaven into Hell. Yet it was not as populat media told; Lucifer was beautiful even in his fall. The beauty he was so well known for remained, angelic in a place full of demons.

One day, Ra was furious at the humans for their disobedience, and decided he would punish them. He took the fire from his eyes and created Sekhmet from that fire, and sent her down to destroy those who were disobedient. As such, Sekhmet went forth with her duty. She began to destroy cities and towns, reigning fire and death, acting as vengence for the creator. But one day, Ra looked down with regret at his actions and called Sekhmet to stop her destruction and return.

But Sekhmet refused. She had gained a thirst for blood that had comprimised her mind, and even Ra could not stop her. People cried for mercy, and Ra had to think of a way to trick the war goddess. He turned the Nile into beer and dyed it red with pomegranate juice to trick Sekhmet into drinking it. And drink it she did. She drank and drank and drank until she passed out and slept for three days. When she awoke, the bloodlust had faded and returned her senses to her.

However, angry at how she had been deceived and how Ra sought to dismiss her, she left Egypt. At first, this was fine. But because Sekhmet was a war goddess as well as part of Ra, her absence greatly weakened the sun. Thoth was sent to plead with her to return, and she eventually did. Now she reigns high in Egypt as both a war goddess and medicine goddess, and helps to protect the pharaohs, which has led to several of them building hundreds of temples and statues to her. All of Egypt wishes to keep her in a good mood, lest she plunge Egypt back into bloodshed and fear again. She does, however, still choose to instigate chaos with some of the gods from time to time.

As such, he is the god who knows everything and yet reveals little. He is the god to whom all the other gods turn to for advice or prophecies, and also whom those of the dead may call upon for guidance if they are worried.

One of his most famous tales is in his aiding Nut and Geb. Nut fell in love with Geb and wished to have children, but the Sun God Ra forbade it. Desperate, she turned to Thoth for his advise. Taking pity on her, and perhaps having a soft spot for her, Thoth played a game of dice against another and won 5 days worth of moonlight. This light he gifted to Nut and Geb, so Nut could give birth to Osiris, Seth, Isis, and Nephthys.

He remains a powerful god known throughout the human world and godly world for his wisdom. He was the god who gifted humanity with learning, writing, and language. He also presides over the books of judgement, is associated with the mooon, and many other aspects. He is by all accounts one of the gentler gods. Though he does tend to abide by the rules, he is not above breaking or manipulating them if he deems it necessary.

Oh child, the world is a cruel place and you learned this far too early. Your light and innocence should have been allowed to blossom into a sweet garden. You were so gentle, so kind, so sweet. You were full of love and care, a brother and son who loved his family dearly.

And you did. You broke their chains, and ushered in the end of the era with one of your other imprisoned siblings to burn this world and tear it apart. They thought they killed you at the end, yet you survived. But oh, you pitiful creature, that anger still burns in an eternal flame now doesn't it? Fenrir was an innocent pup born to the giantess Angrboda and Loki, along with Hel and Jormungandr. He was the youngest and showed excessive promise. When the gods stole Hel, Jormungandr, and Fenrir away from their mother, he was initially kept due to his ability to talk and the gods thinking he was cute. However, Fenrir continued to grow bigger and bigger to the point that the gods began to fear Fenrir. Only Tyr, the god of war and bringer of justice, did not fear him. He continued to care for Fenrir, and the wolf loved him deeply for it. But the gods, encouraged by a prophecy from Odin, began trying to capture and restrain the wolf, disguising it as a competition of strength. But Fenrir was too strong and powerful, and broke the chains they bound him with every time. Naive and loving as he was, Fenrir truly believed it to be a competition from friends. But then one day, the gods created the unbreaking chain Gleipnir to restrain Fenrir.

Sensing something was different with this chain, Fenrir demanded a god put their arm in his mouth. If they were deceiving him, he would bite off their arm. All the other gods were cowards, but Tyr volunteered, so Fenrir allowed them to bind him. Try as he might though, Fenrir could not break these chains and the gods refused to release him. True to his word, Fenrir bit off the arm of the god he had trusted, resulting in a blade being shoved into his jaws to keep his mouth open. He was dragged to a place far, far from the gods and abandoned.

Until Ragnorak came. Then, Fenrir broke free from his chains after thousands of years to devour the sun and ultimately ate Odin as well. Odin's son Víðarr was sent to kill him and though he had succeeded. He almost had. But instead of killing him, Víðarr had only severely wounded Fenrir. Fenrir managed to escape and laid in the shadows, slumbering and recovering for centuries. Eventually Fenrir managed to learn how to shift his form to disguise as a human and began to roam the worlds. He now possesses a deep hatred for all gods other than his father, and will eat them should he encounter them.

Many know the story of Medusa and how she was killed by Perseus, but this is not that story. This is the story of Stheno, eldest of the three gorgon sisters. Unlike Medusa, Stheno is immortal, as is their other sister Euryale. She was the first born and the eldest of the three of them. As such, she often has taken the role of the protector. As a mortal, Ling Wen was a shoe-seller who also wrote poems and sonnets for people. Things changed however when she anonymously entered her writing, titled "Not Xuli" into a contest where it bested the writing of the current top civil god, Jing Wen. Her being the political essay's writer was eventually discovered and she was thrown into prison, but Jing Wen brought her up to be a Middle Court Civil goddess, something that was practically unheard of.

But unlike other goddesses, she wasn't happy to be treated like an object to look pretty and be sent on errands. She wanted to be a proper goddess and sought revenge on Jing Wen for his treatment towards her. With Pei Ming's help, she orchestrated the fall of Jing Wen when she helped accelarate the fall of the Xuli Kingdom and then burned down Jing Wen's palaces and tormented his followers. She quickly rose to become a full god in her own right and then the top Civil God and now practically single-handedly runs the heavens. She is in control of the Upper Heaven's communication array, do reports, giving out missions, handle accounts, and share information.

Born into extreme poverty, your fate was doomed from the start. You had the brains for it all. You were intelligent, you cared, you did everything right. You studied hard, sactificed. And for what? He Xuan did nothing wrong, but the gods committed crimes against him. He Xuan, once known as He Sheng, was born into a very poor family. But he excelled in academics. Fate had intended for him to go on to become a god. But a desperate god stole his blessed future and gave it to their sibling, and gave their sibling's doomed fate to He Sheng. Everything only got worse and worse. He Sheng's exams were rejected because he refused to bribe the officials with gifts. Things seemed to take a slightly happy turn when he was engaged to his childhood friend, but both her and his sister were kidnapped by a rich household and died. He Sheng raged and attacked the household and was sent to jail, where he suffered extreme malnourishment and torture. In that time, his mother died as well. Three out of the four most important people were killed, all because they were related to He Xuan and his cursed path.

When he was released, he helped his father with his business. But he excelled too much and was beaten, attacked, and forced to take debts. His father died, and eventually He Sheng went mad and slaughtered all the evil, cruel people of the city who made other suffer. Then he himself died in a dirt alley from his injuries. But his fate could still get worse

He Sheng became known as He Xuan, most commonly known by his full title as Black Water Submerging Boats, one of three Ghost Kings. He is also the least known do to his isolating behavior. He rules over the waters, leading to a populer saying of Crimson rules the land, Black Water rules the seas. But even in death, He Xuan continues to suffer. He wars between moments of extreme hunger and complete rejection of food, like the rise and fall of the tides. But even this will not stop He Xuan from seeking revenge against the god who ruined not only his life, but those he cared about.

MING YI. This verse takes place whenever He Xuan is actively pretending to be the Earth Master, Ming Yi. He is wearing a slightly different appearance than that of his true nature Despite playing a god, he often spends most of his time away from the Heavens, but every now and then he appears. He is (unfortunately) often accompanied by the Wind Master, Shi Qingxuan.
MAIN VERSE. This is the default verse many interactions will occur in. In this verse, it can be while he's still pretending to be Ming Yi, or after the events of his reveal or even after the ending of the book. He is a reclusive Ghost King who is rarely seen, but sometimes ventures out to the Ghost or mortal realm for food or simple interest. Thanks to his isolation, few can properly realize who he is if he conceals his nature.
